About

Laurelle St. Jean, R. Psych (Ab)
Hi, I'm Laurelle. I help people cope with the everyday and exceptional challenges of life, experience less suffering, and engage more fully with the present moment. Therapy provides a unique relationship which gives you the opportunity to freely evaluate the thoughts and feelings you carry, particularly those that no longer serve you. My role is to help guide you towards your internal strengths, self-acceptance and trust; it is under these conditions that clients challenge themselves and grow in meaningful ways.
While I work with a variety of concerns, I am especially passionate about empowering women to manage anxiety, stress and burnout, heal from loss and traumatic experiences, and set boundaries in relationships, in both their personal and professional lives. I appreciate working with others in helping roles such as healthcare, teaching, and first responders.
Reaching out to therapy, as a first timer or seasoned therapy-goer can be intimidating. This is completely normal, and understandable, as vulnerability can feel scary. Whenever you are ready to take the first step I would love to hear from you.
